At Kip, we care a lot about your privacy. After all, therapy is personal and we’re committed to providing you with a safe and secure space for it. Any content you put into the app, as well as anything you discuss at your appointment, is only seen by you and your therapist. Your data is securely stored on our HIPAA-compliant servers.

There is one exception: the Kip operations team has access to your initials, contact info, and bookings. Sometimes, we have to reach out if something comes up at the last minute (e.g., your therapist is out sick). If we do, we will email first and text or call if it's time-sensitive.

Using Kip through an employee benefit?

Rest assured that your use of Kip is private. Your employer will not have access to any identifiable information including your appointments, therapist name, or anything you share in session. Your employer will have access to the following: aggregate number of appointments used by total employee population.
